The Waldniel Hoster School overwhelmed by stories of mass murder. Even it is said children’s cries have been heard rattling everywhere around the site where mentally disabled children were killed by the Nazis
In French mythology or folklore, Dames Blanches (meaning literally white ladies) were female spirits or supernatural beings, comparable to the White Women of both Dutch and Germanic mythology. The Dames Blanches were reported in the region of Lorraine (Lotharingen) and Normandy. They appear (as Damas blancas, in Occitan), in the Pyrenees mountains, where they were supposed to appear near caves and caverns.
One night when my friend came over, we were doing the Ouija Board. We were talking to a little boy; then there was a balloon that was right next to us! It popped, so we asked if it was the boy (who did it), and the ouija board said, "Yes."
After a while, there was another sign that there was a ghost. Someone was knocking on the door. When I opened the door, there was a short outline of a boy -- and it vanished into the wall!
From now on, when we do the Ouija Board, we don’t ask for big signs.
La Planchada in spanish means “ironed lady”. This is a well known ghost legend in Mexico. It is a story of a ghostly nurse who is seen in hospitals in central Mexico in urban areas. This nurse is seen wearing an old-fashioned nurses uniform. There are several versions of this story. The following is one that has been told many times. This story is connected to the Hospital Juarez located in Mexico City.
Mount Tarawera is responsible for one of New Zealand’s largest volcanic eruptions in history, which killed around 120 people back in 1886. Hundreds die in a natural disaster, during which the sky looked to be burning, black smoke filled the air and survivors were, naturally, panicking and fearing for their own lives? Why, those are the perfect conditions for a ghost story to take root!
Stockholm’s Metro network is one of the best in Europe, travelling across every corner of the Swedish capital both under and overground. The Silverpilen (or “Silver Arrow”) was an old model of Metro train, so named because it of its shiny aluminum shell. Between its introduction in the sixties and discontinuation in 1996, it was usually used as a back-up train if others broke down; the interiors were more utilitarian than the usual cars, with signs of partly removed graffiti contributing to the reputation of the Silverpilen as “different”.
A place originally named “Illinois Asylum for the Incurable Insane” isn’t going to be the happiest place on Earth – and, for copyright reasons, could never name itself as such either – but through a ghost into the mix on top of that, and you’ve got a recipe for true horror. Dr George Zeller, the first director of what is now called the Peoria State Hospital, was one of the first to document the story of the spirit that came to be known as “Old Book”.
Situated just west of Forfar, Scotland, Glamis Castle is referred to by Shakespeare inMacbeth; Macbeth of its title having killed Duncan there in 1040. And it is also at the castle where assassins murdered King Malcolm II in 1034. In addition, Glamis Castle was the childhood home of both Queen Elizabeth II and the Queen Mother, and the birthplace of Princess Margaret. And then there is the castle’s very own monster.
Throughout the world, there have long been various objects and places that have been deemed as having a certain evil presence pervading them. It is not always clear from where this intangible aura of menace and wickedness comes. Is it ghosts? Dark magic or curses? Or is it some unseen sinister force that we can not comprehend, that permeates the world around us and pools around certain areas, infecting them with its insidious, inscrutable stain? Whatever this evil is, it can certainly be found clinging to one old shipwreck off the coast of Western Australia, about 40km north of Perth. Here lies the skeletal remains of the Alkimos, a WWII era cargo ship that from the moment of its creation was infused with a menacing force that has still not let go even as the ship’s remains slowly rot and melt away into the sea.
La Isla de la Munecas The Island of Dolls A short ways away from the bustling capital of Mexico City, within the winding canals of Xochimilco, seekers of the creepy just might find their holy grail: a small island populated entirely by decaying doll parts. “The Island of the Dolls” is the maggot-brain child of a man named Don Julian Santana Barrera who left his wife and family one day in the 1950s to settle a small piece of land on Teshuilo Lake.
Curious old books and manuscripts are my favourites.
Pig Lady |
I still am not quite sure if what I am about to tell you actually happened or not. It could have been a really bad nightmare... at least that's what I have been trying to tell myself for years now.
Has anyone ever heard of the Pig Lady? Well, when I heard of her, I was around 12 years old in 2005. I had stayed over at a friend's house and we stayed up all night telling each other scary stories. Then one girl told us about the Pig Lady. She said that it's someone who has a woman's body with the face of a pig. You have to say her name three times and she would appear and chase you.
BACK IN THE late 1980s, my aunt moved into an apartment with her eldest son in a city in upstate New York. About a year after she moved in, downstairs from her on the street level a storefront spiritualist shop opened, where they sold everything from healing crystals to New Age books. More notably, they would hold spiritual healing sessions, attempt spirit contact, conduct séances, and other such practices down there. It was owned by a rather large woman who was supposedly a medium or clairvoyant.
My husband committed suicide almost seven years ago. He hung himself from a tree in the back yard on a cold rainy February night.
A few days after his funeral, I was coming up the front hallway of my apartment. I lived on the third floor and as I got to the front door to go in, I heard like a whimpering/crying sort of sound. It was pretty loud. At first I thought it might be one of the kids downstairs. The lady below me had three daughters that were different ages. But as I opened the front door to my place the whimpering got louder.
We moved into this home in 1980. I was 10. When we first moved in, we would hear loud whispering in the middle of the night - a woman and a man. You could almost make out what they were saying, but not quite. It would sound like the shower was running for long periods of time in the middle of the night. My parents would get up in the middle of the night to see about this, but of course nothing was going on.
The events I'm about to relate took place over the course of six months to a year, starting on December, 2005. We bought our dream home in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, and made settlement on Sept 12, 2001 -- the day after 9/11! It took me a long time to bond with the beautiful little house because of the timing.
I had two experiences since my brother-in-law was murdered in November, 2010. Both are related to him. He was 20 years old and very close to my son and my husband.
On Christmas Day, my husband was very upset and depressed from losing his brother three weeks prior. He was also there and watched him die, holding him, trying to keep him from bleeding out. Every day he has flashbacks about the whole thing and is still very stressed out and fragile.
That night, when everyone went to sleep, I prayed and prayed that I could get a sign to let me know that my son and my husband would get through this, that everything would be okay and that he was watching over us and protecting him from the bad things that got him killed.
I stopped praying and decided to turn my light off, and as soon as I sat down in my bed I heard something. We have a gold wreath about six inches in diameter with bells on it hanging in the kitchen, which is about 15 feet away from my bedroom. I heard three distinct shakes from it. I sat up in bed and listened for it again, and this time it was loud like it was right next to my door. I got up and went to go look in the kitchen and it was rocking back and forth.
It was the middle of winter, so all the windows were closed -- there was no breeze. I think it was him giving me a sign.
I was with my sister, her husband, my husband, and our dog Molly at an old historic hotel in Virginia City, Nevada, November of 2012. We had adjacent rooms. The men were next door and my sister and I were talking in my room.
In 1991, Glenn was a university student inNova Scotia. What began as an ordinary bus trip back to his home town to visit his parents turned into a confusing distortion of time and space.
I have had numerous experiences throughout my life with the paranormal and believe I am a sensitive. The most recent one was just last week when my Aunt Jean contacted me from the other side.
I had a phone that I bought in October, 2009. I moved in May, 2010 and switched carriers, so could no longer use that phone or the service. Last week, January 6, 2013, I remembered that I had some photos and video on that phone and wanted to retrieve them. I charged up the phone and turned it on.
Who called me?
I never thought that there could be anything paranormal about a phone call until yesterday. I live in Baltimore, Maryland, and about three weeks ago somewhere in mid-July, 2013 my family and I were watching TV when the phone rang. The caller ID on the TV displayed the number 443-560-3565, but before I could locate the house phone, it stopped ringing.
This one is very famous and that is the reason I always thought that The Betty and Barney Hill Abduction was the first Modern Day Abduction but I was wrong.
In 1961, Barney Hill was a 39-year-old black man who worked for the US Postal Service. His wife Betty was a 41-year-old white woman, who owned a Master's Degree, and was the supervisor for the child welfare department.
The fact that the Hills were an interracial couple has been given weight by some who state that Barney was suffering stress in dealing with some public ridicule about the black and white union, which was not nearly as readily accepted in the early 1960s as it is today.
In my research into Mr. Hill's life, I can't find any reason for his stress being the cause of telling such an incredible story. What ensued after the couple went public with their story was much more stressful to him than any anti-racial remarks he may have encountered.
From unexplained noises to flying objects to attacks on people, this is some of the strangest, scariest poltergeist activity ever documented
PICTURE THE EARTH in the blackness of space, spinning on its axis, orbiting the sun, with the moon following its orbit around the Earth -- all in accordance with the predictable laws of physics. All is as it should be. But look more carefully at that bright blue planet. Go in closer... move toward that land mass, down to that town, into that house at the end of the block. All is not as it should be there. Something is not right. There -- and in many other houses around that planet throughout history and even today -- things don't always seem to be operating by the laws of physics as we know them. Dishes fly out of cupboards; loud crashes are heard with no apparent cause; stones rain down from nowhere; covers are yanked off beds; people are pushed, poked and even slapped -- all by some mysterious, invisible force.
The disappearing objects phenomenon (DOP) is a somewhat known type of event that has been having a large number of reported cases.
I had no previous knowledge of these type of events, nor regarding the large quantity of people reporting events where things mysteriously disappear.
Most times, people tend to forget about DOP events, no matter how strange the situation was. They forget about it ever taking place, don’t give it much thought and discarding it as unimportant.
You hear heavy footsteps in the upstairs hallway when you know no one is up there. Doors slam unaccountably. Commonly used items disappear and reappear without cause. The kitchen light turns on by itself. There's the unmistakable scent of a strange perfume in the air.
These may be indications that your house is haunted. True hauntings are rare occurrences, and it may be difficult to determine whether or not any strange phenomena you are experiencing in your home might be due to a haunting. For one thing, no one really knows what a "real" haunting is - what causes it or why it starts.
Almost from the start, sex and UFOs were inseparable bedfellows. The adventure of 23-year-old Antonio Villas Boas on 16 October 1957 in Brazil is probably the most famous case of interstellar intercourse.
Antonio was ploughing a field on the family farm when the engine of his tractor cut out; at the same time, an object with purple lights descended from the sky. Humanoids in spacesuits emerged from the object and took him into their craft, subjecting him to what seemed like a medical examination.
They stripped him, spread a strange liquid over him and took a sample of his blood. He was left alone in a room for what seemed a long time, until a beautiful, fair-haired woman arrived.
She was naked and Antonio was instantly attracted to her. Without speaking or kissing, they had sex, during which she growled like a dog. Despite his strange circumstances or perhaps because the alien liquid had Viagra-like properties Antonio was soon ready for a second helping. Interviewed later, he said: "Before leaving she turned to me, pointed to her belly, and smilingly pointed to the sky." Before letting him go, his captors gave Antonio a guided tour of the spaceship. Antonio went on to become a successful lawyer and still stood by his story over 30 years later.
Equally lurid stories of sexual liaisons with UFO occupants came from the world-famous contactees of the 1950s. Howard Menger, for one, had regular meetings with Marla, a beautiful blonde from space who claimed to be 500 years old. She projected "warmth, love and physical attraction," which he found irresistible.
The historic UFO case of the Reed Family, was assigned a Vallee classification of “CE4” (close encounter of the 4th kind), with a case category of 3 (physical evidence). The case has many layers and is deeply entwined and remains one of a few CE4 cases to be mentioned within the walls of the United Nations.
The evidence in this case would include a significant amount of radiation, and strong magnetic fields, and is one of a few to have been collected and documented by those in law enforcement. It includes a history of testimony gleaned from conscious recollections, an abundance of documentation, administrative testing, and official reports, followed by dark consequences. The history involves Marian Burrows, grandmother, Nancy Reed, mother, and the two brothers, Thom and Matthew.
Life seemed perfect to Mark when the widower brought his new bride Lisa home to the lovely two-story cottage he had build for his deceased first wife. Things were very happy for about a year, and Mark was ecstatic when he learned Lisa was expecting twins. The house was rather small for a double addition to the family, so Mark and Lisa put the cottage up for sale and started searching for a bigger house. That’s when the problems began.
Suddenly, the cottage would be filled with the distinctive smell of expensive perfume. The first time Mark smelled it, he turned pale and told Lisa that it was the scent his dead wife had favored. Then furniture that Lisa had rearranged moved back to its original place. The books in Mark’s study were taken out of their categories and put in alphabetical order, the way his former wife had kept them. The ghost of Mark’s first wife had returned to the little cottage. But why now, a full year after he had remarried?
She commandeered the room in the basement of her dorm as soon as she realized she would have to pull an all-nighter in order to prepare for tomorrow’s final exam. Her roommate, Jenna, liked to get to bed early, so she packed up everything she thought she would need and went downstairs to study . . . and study . . . and study some more.
It was two o’clock, when she realized that she’d left one of the textbooks upstairs on her bed. With a dramatic sigh, she rose, and climbed the stairs slowly to her third-floor dorm room.
The lights were dim in the long hallway, and the old boards creaked under her weary tread. She reached her room and turned the handle as softly as she could, pushing the door open just enough to slip inside, so that the hall lights wouldn’t wake her roommate.
A laundress, newly moved to Charleston following the Civil War, found herself awakened at the stroke of twelve each night by the rumble of heavy wheels passing in the street. But she lived on a dead end street, and had no explanation for the noise.
Once upon a time there was a miller who was poor, but who had a beautiful daughter. Now it happened that he got into a conversation with the king and said to him: "I have a daughter who knows the art of turning straw into gold."
So the king immediately sent for the miller's daughter and ordered her to turn a whole room full of straw into gold in one night. And if she could not do it, she would have to die. She was locked in the room, and she sat there and cried, because for her life she did not know how the straw would turn into gold.
The soucouyant or soucriant in Dominica, Trinidadian and Guadeloupean folklore (also known as Ole-Higue or Loogaroo elsewhere in the Caribbean), is a kind of blood-sucking hag
The soucouyant is a shape-shifting Caribbean folklore character who appears as a reclusive old woman by day. By night, she strips off her wrinkled skin and puts it in a mortar. In her true form, as a fireball she flies across the dark sky in search of a victim. The soucouyant can enters the home of her victim through any sized hole like cracks, crevices and keyholes.
When I was in the fifth grade, my best friend died from hanging. I should note that to this day nobody knows if it was on purpose or accident.
My sister, who is four years younger than me, found him hanging. He was too high for either of us to do anything.
The main reason to clear a space—your home, your car or your office—is to remove negative energies. Negative energies occur for a number of reasons. They include:

How to Use the Ouija Board
No matter your opinion of the Ouija, you should at least know how to use it properly. Here are the basic instructions, plus tips on getting the best results.
Ouija: How Does It Work?
This article briefly describes the history of the board as well as some of the prevailing opinions and theories on what makes the planchette move. Does it spell out messages through the influence of spirits or demons? Psychokinesis? Or is it a combination of the ideomotor effect — involuntary muscle movements — and the psychological fears and expectations of the participants?
In Indonesian and Malaysian mythology, a Sundel Bolong is a mythical ghost from the archipelago which is generally described as a woman with beautiful long hair and a long white dress (her form is similar toKuntilanak). The name and myth is closely linked to prostitutes, meaning a "prostitute with a hole in her", in reference to the large hole which is said to appear in her back.
In February of 1855, around the area of East and South Devon, England The Devil’s Footprints were found in the snow. These hoof-like prints covered approximately 60 to 100 miles, depending on who was telling the story. Just note this would be considered impossible for one person to accomplish in a day in the 19th century. These appeared to be cloven hooves, leading people to panic that Satan was among them. Each track measured at 4 inches long, 3 inches wide and approximately 8-16 inches apart in single file. Nearly 30 locations reported these mysterious footprints. They tracked over houses, frozen lakes and other obstacles. Some of the rooftop tracks travelled up to roofs, only to exit from pipes that were a mere 4 inches in diameter.
