This is where a group of people sit around a table, with their hands slightly resting upon the table, making sure that no other part of their body is touching it, when all is relaxed and quiet, one person can start to ask out loud if there are 'spirits' there who would like to communicate, the 'spirits' will then use the table as a way of communicating by making it move and sometimes hopefully it will actually lift from the floor.
