Today the Moon remains in steady Taurus and our need is for calm and as little upheaval as possible. The Moon in Taurus clings onto what we know, and we will get jumpy if we get disorientated or disturbed. You've heard of the saying “like a bull in a china shop” and an irritated bull can be very destructive. Today our emotions are at a peak as the Moon opposes the Sun in a full Moon sky that offers the very opposite of what the peace loving Taurean Moon really wants. 

Life is starting to get interesting and emotions are beginning to rise as we approach the next full Moon (more detail about that in tomorrow's post) but before that happens the Moon has to move into the sign of Taurus which it does in the early morning (UK/European time). The energy as it enters Taurus is directed to more material pursuits and desires now, and anything we can touch, feel or make will enthuse us today. We want peace, closeness and the status quo, but with the other planetary aspects in force that is rather unlikely to happen. 

Astrologically this is a “very” active day and there is much to write about. The Moon continues along it's path in the sign of Aries and we will continue to take on every challenge and situation we face in a positive and pro-active way – we will be in a mood to take things head on from the off today.

We start a new cycle today as the Moon in the early hours (UK/European time) slips into the sign of the Ram. As with any beginning there will be enthusiasm and a willing to start things afresh, a new day, a new dawn, new opportunities. There may be a sense of haste around us now and individual purpose to get things done, indeed we may need to get things done and anyone who stands in our way may irk us. 

It's all Hallows Eve today, originally a Gaelic festival to mark the end of the light half of the year and the beginning of the dark half. It is highly appropriate then that the Moon during this coming night finishes it's trip through the final degrees of the zodiac, before it enters into Aries, the first sign once again.
