Ouija Names the Murderer
At college, a friend brought a Ouija board to our dorm. We didn't take it serious, but played with it often. Eventually, about five of us got serious with it and everyone else lost interest. There was only way that I could be convinced that there was anything to it. I decided to write down vague questions on a piece of paper relating to an unsolved murder case in my hometown that no one in the room knew about. I photocopied the paper, added the answers and kept that copy in my pocket. The original questionnaire was given to one of the girls to ask the Ouija board.
The Ouija gave the initials of the person that was murdered. It said the person arrested was not guilty. (He was later released due to insufficient evidence). The spirit claimed to be the spirit of a young man who hung himself and left a note claiming he did it. Problem with that was he had a broken arm when he was hung. His note had terrible spelling as did this spirit. Keep in mind that the info retrieved from the board was not good full sentences nor grammar. The original guy arrested was later killed in an auto accident. Another person left town without notice and anyone else involved with the incident does not remember anything about that night.
The Ouija then turned its demeanor to a softer tone and kept going over the same two letters over and over and over. It happens that the two letters coincided with the initials of a man that was a part of this group of people that were partying near the place where the murder occurred. He had an alibi, was crazy, dangerous, and everyone who knew him was afraid of him. Some people are thoroughly convinced that this man was the guilty party, but no one would turn him in or could prove it. Someone was also responsible for the other guys hanging which was probably staged to throw police off and close the case. Last I heard, it is a cold case
